Testimonial – Does what we do really matter?

Recently, a Lakota high school student wrote a letter of thanks to the Faith Alliance.

“Sienna” wrote this testimonial:

“I would like to thank you for raising money to help a complete stranger. The money your churches (Faith Alliance partners) donated to help me actually made a difference. I could not apply to colleges until I paid the fees (for transcripts from previous school). I was not going to be able to pay the fee money on my own. I felt like the years of my hard work did not even matter. The money donated has given me hope again. Thank you for going out of your way to help me. Sincerely,’ Sienna.’”

The Butler County Success liaison who works with the Faith Alliance reported to us that that “Sienna’s” high school has now received her transcript from her previous school!  She is scheduled to graduate in May and is working with her counselor to apply to colleges. Praise God! This is just one example of how our alliance of churches, working together, is making a real difference in people’s lives. Thank you to all who helped Sienna.
