Since it’s inception in 2011, the Faith Alliance church partners have supported a collaborative outreach called Stepping Forward Tuesday Night Community Dinners which also began in 2011. The free dinner is hosted every Tuesday night, year-round, at Faith Community UMC on Cox Road in West Chester. Most Faith Alliance church partners provide either food and/or hands and feet at the meal, mentorship for those trying to get ahead, or offer Christian music during dinner. The meal is open to anyone who needs or wants a free hot dinner and warm fellowship.

Christmas Shop & Celebration
Faith Community UMC invites their Food Pantry families to their Christmas Celebration where they can enjoy a hot breakfast, crafts for the kids, and photos with Santa. During this celebration, families can pick up their food baskets and browse our Christmas Shop, where they can select gifts for their children at greatly reduced prices. Cost will be $5 – $10 per family, depending on the number of gifts purchased. Families must already be pre-registered to participate in the Christmas Shop.
YOU CAN STILL HELP! Donations of $30 value gift items for children are needed for the Christmas Shop. You or your congregation can help local families afford gifts for their children by providing donations of fun, interactive age-appropriate gifts for the Christmas Shop OR gift cards or cash are all welcome. Donations should be dropped off at Faith Community UMC by the first week of December. Questions? Contact Tara Yunker, Missions Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
