Music Festival Provides for “Hope in Action”

On Saturday, September 30th, 2017, Hope in Action ministry was again the recipient of leftover food from the 2nd Annual Sing Out Against Poverty Music Festival presented by Faith Alliance. Hope in Action is an active nighttime street ministry to those living without homes in downtown Cincinnati and it’s immediate suburbs every Wednesday and Sunday throughout the year. The outreach was founded and operated by ministry partners Amy Tincher and John Jones. Together, with 14 volunteers from Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, they divided and packaged 250 sandwiches, nearly 600 desserts, 500 beverages, and a variety of other items into large sacks of food for each recipient. On Sunday, October 1st, these food items were delivered to the over 130 people through Hope in Action. Their friends were overjoyed at receiving the blessings of the abundant food. Hope in Action is grateful to the Faith Alliance and the Festival for their continued support and of the mission to serve those who are impoverished.  What a perfect partnership and incredible way to close out Sing Out Against Poverty 2017!
