COPE Poverty Simulation offered March 25

You know what they say about “walking in another man’s shoes?” This free COPE – Cost of Poverty Experience, offers adult volunteers for programs that serve those in poverty, with a new perspective on what families have to deal with on a daily basis. Training made available through an Ohio Healthier Buckeye grant. Light breakfast offered with registration. Limited participation so register early!

When: Saturday, March 25, 9:30am -11am

Where: Faith Community UMC

Who should attend: We HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all Clergy, church leadership, outreach volunteers(18 yrs. old +) for Summer Lunch, Stepping Forward, WC Presbyterian Community Suppers, Family Promise or other local programs serving those in need. You need not be a Faith Alliance member to participate.

FREE ADMISSION: $10 suggested donation to Stepping Forward, free Tuesday night dinner program
