Change in Leadership for Faith Alliance

It was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye on July 10th to Steve Noe, former Faith Alliance board president, who served so faithfully over the past two years. Steve’s gifts and talents he shared with the organization were many and we will be forever grateful for all he has done. Steve is relocating to Denver for a new job opportunity. Thank you Steve and we will miss you!

The newly elected Board President is Bonnie Greenwood. Bonnie is an Account Manager in Greater Cincinnati for a national Electrical Supply company. She has been active in leadership and hospitality roles at Bethany United Methodist Church for 13 years. Currently she serves on the Missions and Outreach committee and as a greeter for traditional service time. Bonnie is the past chair for their Staff Parish Relations Committee. Bonnie has served for many years as a volunteer in church, community, non-profits, and visitation for sick and elderly. She also has been on several USA Disaster Recovery Mission trips. She has worked on charity functions for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s two of her close personal areas.

Bonnie has been on the Faith Alliance board since June 2016 and also serves as the Chair of the Programs Committee and the Music Festival. At the election, Bonnie stated: “I am truly humbled to be granted this new opportunity to serve. I have been part of the Faith Alliance since inception however mainly on the service side as one of the original Liaison group. Bethany UMC, my home church, was one of the seven that met with Jay Shephard during the inception dream of The Faith Alliance as it began.”

We are blessed to have Bonnie with her wonderful heart for service as our new leader!
